Wicked Cranium holders have a new reason to rejoice! In its latest update, the NFT project has added Wicked Craniums Loot and Staking. More NFTs and rewards are now up for grabs.
With staking, Wicked Cranium holders can stake their NFTs for rewards. Meanwhile, with Loot, members can mint a brand new Wicked Loot NFT. With these latest updates, things are shaking up on the island of Osseous!

Wicked Craniums staking explained
NFT staking is nothing new in the NFT world. However, Wicked Craniums are going a step further with their staking mechanics.
“Previously, staking in the NFT world meant you locked up your NFT to receive ERC-20 coins,” the project wrote in a blog post. “For the first time ever you are able to stake your NFT for more NFTs!!!”
Members can stake their NFTs on the website. For this, you will require at least one Cranium and a Stallion. Once staking begins, the NFTs will be taken from your wallet and kept in a contract for 28 days. After this, Wicked Craniums will reward you with a brand new Haylos piece!
The pieces are part of Wicked Cranium’s upcoming collab with Haylos (a series of abstract digital creations). As part of the collab, Haylos’ artist Chris Gee will create Craniums coloured and stylized by hand.
“1 Haylos pieces will be randomly distributed per pair, there is a system that distribute different rarity tiers of Haylos based on how many pairs you have staked,” the project adds.
For every pair you stake, you will get one page of the comic. Once you get the first 20 pages, you can redeem them for the remaining pages.
As of today (September 27), over 3000 pairs of the NFTs have been staked! Additionally, Wicked Craniums have also announced a staking lottery. Each Haylos piece counts as one raffle ticket. From the final pool, six stakers will be randomly selected to win five Craniums. There is also a 1 ETH grand prize!

What is Wicked Loot?
Recently, Wicked Craniums announced it will be dropping Wicked Loot NFTs for Cranium holders. The Wicked Loot minting is now live on their website and will be available all this week. With this, Cranium holders can claim Wicked Loot NFTs on a 1:1 basis for every Cranium they own. While the mint is free, holders still have to pay the gas fees.
The Loot works as an accessory for the Craniums and comes with its own location, a superpower, and a profession. Currently, it’s up to the community to decide how they want to develop the new NFT.
“We thought this would be a fun way to develop the lore of Osseous and add to the character of the individual Craniums,” the project added.
One of the most highly sought after NFT collectibles, Wicked Craniums has had an eventful couple of weeks. Early this month, for instance, the NFT project collaborated with Skullcandy to drop 25 exclusive headphones. With staking and loot now part of the project, community members have much to look forward to!
