If you think having fun opening the packs and finding out the hidden treasures within is a good deal, then you’re in for a surprise. As an NFT holder, you will be able to redeem REVV Racing Car NFTs.
MotoGP is a competitive, multiplayer management game experience. Basically, it allows players to take on the role of team manager and go head-to-head against other players. It delivers branded experience centered around NFTs: Collection and Racing Management.
Animoca Brands’ MotoGP NFT Giveaway
The giveaway is a special thank you for the support and participation of the community. It also unlocks and grants direct access to the newly launched play-to-earn racing game, REVV Racing. Animoca Brands is launching the game in August with its own $150,000 “Alpha Inaugural” racing tournament.
These special cars NFTs will have an “Ignition” tag as well as a unique MotoGP™ Ignition-inspired livery. The “Ignition” tag will be customized based on the packs that the NFT holder bought. To illustrate, Series 1 will be Ignition, Series 2 is “Ignition 2” and so on. Issuance is 1:1 so if a player bought packs during both sales, then that translates to two free Revv Racing Cars. Each one would have a tag related to the sale.
Follow the Mechanics and Deadline
One crucial thing to note is that the giveaway is not automated as MotoGP runs on the Flow Blockchain while REVV Racing is on Polygon. Therefore, users need to create a wallet that supports Polygon ( such as Metamask). Then the next step is to manually fill out a form and input MotoGP email address, Flow wallet and Polygon wallet address.
The hard deadline is 29.07.2021, 00:00 UTC. Those players who have not provided their Polygon address by then will not be able to receive their free NFT.
What’s next for MotoGP and REVV Racing?
This NFT giveaway is part of a long-term interoperability strategy. The end goal of Animoca Brands is to connect experiences in MotoGP and its other game based on Formula, F1 Delta Time. To achieve this, the global game developer will utilize REVV as its main utility token and in-game currency.
The launch of the REVV token affirms that NFT Projects are pivoting towards a multi-chain approach. Last Month, Polkamon rebranded its project to Polychain Monsters to signify cross-chain integration with Ethereum, Elrond and Binance Smart Chain. NFT Marketplace PolkaFantasy also announced that it’s coming to Polygon to take advantage of cheaper transaction fees. Currently, it supports Ethereum and Polkadot.
Having one utility token for multiple game titles offers various benefits to players and game publishers.
