Archie Comics is partnering with Palm NFT Studio to drop an Archieverse: Eclipse NFT collection. This is the comic’s first dive into the world of Web3. Their goal with this NFT collection is to empower fans to generate their own art and stories.
Archieverse is a PFP collection inspired by The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The drop is scheduled for May 16th and will cost $66.66 per NFT.
Archieverse will create 66,666 generative characters and feature 3 million potential outcomes linked by what they mention as an “ominous prophecy.”
Archie Comics Plans to Incorporate Fan Submissions
Palm NFT has partnered with DC comics previously, but what makes this collaboration different is Archie wants fans to author future series. In addition, they plan on incorporating fan-generated art and rewarding creative community members.
Holders will be able to create and submit their own storylines using their specific NFT characters. Archie Comics will then review all the creations and select submissions they enjoy. These submissions will be granted story credits and potential integration in future comics.
Palm Studio NFT is super excited to be assisting Archie Comics on their NFT launch. Dan Heyman the CEO said, “a collective storytelling project is so ambitious, it will set a new precedent for comic books.” This is exactly what Archie Comics is looking to achieve with this collaborative approach.
