Anna Condo, a New York-based photographer and filmmaker is releasing an NFT collection, titled Flower Gang, on the 1stDibs marketplace. It features over 100 NFTs by a range of digital artists, inspired by flowers.

Anna Condo is known particularly for her photography and floral portraits. She describes flowers as her “ultimate muse”. Last year, Condo ventured into this digital world for the first time with Tulip 1637, a series of NFTs made in collaboration with an anonymous group of cypherpunks.
With this latest presentation, titled Flower Gang, 1stDibs highlights new and established artists working in the fields of dance, music, illustration and painting, among many other genres.
Anna Condo spoke about her passion for flowers, by saying: “With flowers, I have learned so much about myself and others, about joy and abundance, about life and death. To me, flowers have a spirit and a soul. I agree with the late Carl Sagan on nature: ‘We’re made of the same stuff.”
Anna Condo has a fairly strong audience. She has 12k followers on Twitter, including OpenSea. On Instagram, she in fact has more followers, about 19.5k.
About the 1stDibs Marketplace
1stDibs is a traditional marketplace, offering luxury products from couches to artwork, to watches. Also, they have made a large addition to their marketplace of NFTs, including this collection with Anna Condo. The marketplace sees many NFT artists on their platform, with nine artists named on the site.
The company was founded in 2000. To clarify, it is an e-commerce company. They have been recognized, interestingly, for “pushing antiques into the 21st century.” In 2015, 1stDibs raised $50 million from venture capital firm Insight Partners. Then in March 2019, the company completed a Series D funding round of $76 million. It has received $170 million in funding to date and has a valuation of more than $500 million.
For Anna Condo’s work, there is one creation currently up. A 1/1 edition called Tulip Mania. It has a reserve price of 1.1 ETH.
