Australian DJ Timmy Trumpet made a statement about NFTs by showing off his BAYC, MAYC, Doodles and Deadfellaz NFTs on Twitter.
In a cryptic tweet, the Australian DJ said, “Am I gonna make it??”. He accompanied this comment with photos of his BAYC, MAYC, Doodles and Deadfellaz NFTs. Safe to say that his Twitter fans couldn’t be more excited!
“Nice, you gotta check out @psychedelic_nft,” commented @EricFromTexas. Others congratulated Timmy Trumpet for his acquisitions: “We ALL Ready Made It .. now we get to show the World How #NFTCommunity #LFG!!” claimed @WILDisleNFT. On the other hand, some Twitter users expressed their disappointment at not being able to afford such NFTs. “I really want on but I can’t do right now,” said @Kornwik3.
Australian DJ Timmy Trumpet is a bonafide NFT enthusiast
This isn’t the first time that the Australian DJ expressed his interest in NFTs. In fact, on December 4th, Timmy Trumpet wrote a lengthy tweet explaining how NFTs and the metaverse are going to revolutionise the music industry as we know it:
“NFT’s are not just about Apes, Cats and Lions, or any animal profile pic. NFT’s will be used in everyday life, and they are going to completely change the way we interact with music.”
“Imagine listening to your fav artist’s new music, having a say in what songs are released, and what they’re called.” He continued, “Imagine earning royalties from the tracks you listen to the most.”
“Your real-life event tickets will be NFT’s. You’ll use NFT’s to travel there, organise meetups and unlock access to unimaginable experiences. The possibilities are ENDLESS.”
Timmy Trumpet is not the only DJ investing in the NFT space. This year, DJ Marshmello revealed his NFT portfolio – worth approximately $1 million. What’s more – another international DJ, Steve Aoki, created OddKey – his own NFT marketplace. One thing is for sure, as the NFT space grows, more and more musicians will use NFTs to drive their careers forward.
