Football legend, Dani Alves is set to launch a luxury NFT watch with Backes and Strauss as part of an event at the MetaTerrace lounge in Dubai on 28th June. Also, the event is being brought together in collaboration with Dubai-based ColossalBit. The NFTs can also be accompanied by a physical version of watches, and fractionalized NFTs will be made possible.

Brazillian footballer Dani Alves is set to visit Dubai for the launch of his NFT watch project in partnership with watchmaker Backes and Strauss, Metaverse consultant ColossalBit and Nightlife venue MetaTerrace.
Each of the watch variants will pay tribute to Alves’ 43 trophies that he’s won over his illustrious career which has seen him at Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, Sao Paulo, and Brazil’s national team, among more.
The ‘Alves Trophy NFT Watch Collection’ will be sold in three rarities: Premium, Fractionalized and Normal NFTs. The premium is 1/1 and provides ownership of the physical watch and more benefits.
The fractionalized NFT will see five of the 43 watches sold. There are 750 of these, and owners will own a small bit of each watch, as well as some other benefits. Finally, a total of 1,482 normal NFTs will be made available, and provide their own benefits. More details on the watches and each of their benefits can be found here.
Dani Alves’ Record-Breaking Career
Dani Alves is the most decorated player in football, topping a huge list of names for this title, holding 46 titles at the senior level. His honours include La Liga titles, Champions Leagues, Serie A, Ligue 1, Copa America, and an Olympic Gold medal.
Alves, a right-back, has spent a lot of his career in Spain, with Sevilla and Barcelona, the team he is best known for. However, in between, he has seen stints at Juventus, Paris Saint Germain, and Sao Paulo. Alves returned to Camp Nou last year. He also holds 122 senior caps with his home country of Brazil.
