Loud & proud! Even after pride month, Blankos Block Party is firm on its support towards the LGBTQ community with an NFT Collection. The gaming company confirmed that all proceeds would be donated to a local Seattle LGBTQ+ charity organization.

Back in June, Mythical games, the gaming company behind Blankos, raised an additional $75 Million during the Series B Funding. With that, total investments for the project peaked at $120 Million. Since then, Blankos launched a series of high-profile partnerships. The first one is with Deadmau5 with Dan Lish designing 1,000 Professor Meowingtons Blankos. Then, the project released Burberry-themed Vinyl toys early this month.
With a successful fundraising event and brand partnerships, the project felt it is time to give back. Furthermore, Mythical Games realized that they could also benefit charities and communities that need support. This move shows that even if Pride Month is over, our support for the LGBTQ+ Community should never end. Mythical Games will match the sales of the auction and donate it to Lambert House in Seattle.
Starting today, July 15, fans and collectors can bid for Pride Dragon Blankos NFT for $9.99. Meanwhile, the accessory will have a price tag of $4.99.
With this move, Blankos joins other brands and projects that dedicated their NFT auctions for charity. A few days ago, cancer survivor and MLB player Trey Mancini dedicated his NFT Collection to a colon cancer NGO. Liverpool Football Star Robbie Fowler routed the proceeds of his NFT Sales to Fowler Education and Football Academy. Even former President Donald Trump auctioned over 46,000 tweets for charity. NFTs are an effective way to raise funds for a cause because it gamifies the donation process. In effect, donors get something of value rather than just giving their money.
