Bollywood Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s first-ever NFT collection was auctioned for a record $966,000! This is the highest NFT sale in India where an increasing number of celebrities are hopping on the NFT bandwagon. Bachchan is one of the first Bollywood stars to take the step, having first announced his debut NFT collection in September.
“In this world of digitization, NFTs have opened a new realm of opportunities to engage with my fans even more than before,” Bachchan was quoted by The Economic Times. “The successful auction of my NFTs, some of the most treasured and personal moments of my life and career were so well received and invested in by my supporters.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s NFTs were auctioned on the new NFT marketplace, BeyondLife.club. The collection included Madhushala NFTs, The Loot Box NFT, Iconic Vintage Posters NFT and BigB Punks and NFT Arts. The star of the show was the Madhushala NFT collection—Bachchan’s recording of his father’s poem—which alone fetched a whopping $756,000.
Meanwhile, Iconic Vintage Posters NFTs were auctioned for $94,052. It featured seven autographed hand-painted posters of Bachchan’s iconic movies, including Sholay. Furthermore, along with the autographed physical copy of the posters, auction winners also received an NFT video of the superstar signing the posters.
On the other hand, The BigB Loot Box with 5000 NFTs was sold out in 54 minutes! The box contained a range of NFTs, including signed vintage posters, BigB Punk, and Signature Pastel Art NFT. The entire collection sold for $50,000, with buyers getting any one of the NFTs. Lastly, BigB Punks and NFT Arts fetched $66,900. This contained six different avatars of the legendary actor.
