BORED-GAMES sets itself apart with physical gifts for NFT holders
The BORED-GAMES project comes from the artist and one-man-army, Chris (@CryptoChrisNFT on Twitter). In essence, the project is about blending the fun of traditional board games, with the surging field of NFT art. Indeed, BORED-GAMES wants to be the leading board game company in Web3.
To that end, everyone who mints an NFT from BORED-GAMES’ first collection will receive a physical board game! This is just one way that Chris plans to provide value to the BORED-GAMES community from the jump.
By the same token, BORED-GAMES is setting out to create fun and unique art that sets it apart from the many derivative and copycat NFTs that are currently out. As a matter of fact, Chris has been minting NFTs in his unique style since 2020.
One of the most important things to note about BORED-GAMES is that it strives to have an NFT launch that is both fair and affordable. For one thing, the mint price will be 0.15 ETH. However, the NFTS will also be available during the presale for 0.1 ETH. What’s more, in contrast to NFT projects that make would-be collectors jump through countless hoops just for a chance at presale access, the BORED-GAMES presale whitelist is open.
That is to say, there is no grinding necessary to get presale access here! Basically, the first 2,000 wallet addresses will all be able to mint NFTs at this lower price. This is important because BORED-GAMES wants to build an authentic community where people do not feel like they have to engage simply to get on a whitelist.
FatBoys will be the first NFT project from the project
Another key point is that BORED-GAMES is leaving the door open for future NFT collections. With that said, the first NFT collection will be FatBoys – a collection of 10,000 PFP-ready avatars. The FatBoys NFTs will be the key for unlocking the initial BORED-GAMES utility. In other words, if you want to receive a special physical board game, you’ll want to pick up a FatBoys NFT once they become available.
To explain the board game, it is called “Become The Next NFT Whale!” It functions similarly to the classic family board game, Monopoly. Players will compete with another to see who can collect the most NFTs. People landing on your NFTs will have to pay you, and you can even upgrade your NFTs to blue-chip status in order to collect more ETH from other players. Just don’t get hacked!
In addition to the initial board game, BORED-GAMES is also making plans for offline, mobile, and online tabletop games in the future. There is also a plan to create a VR board game where people can play with their own unique avatar. Thus, the project will be able to enter the metaverse when the time is right.
Holders can also expect frequent raffles and giveaways, community meetings, and collaborations with other similarly aligned NFT projects. Of course, the BORED-GAMES community will be able to pitch in and help shape the future of the project.
