Bored & Hungry, the first NFT-themed restaurant will open its second location in Seoul, South Korea. Its mother company, Food Fighters Universe, signed a deal with Hungry DAO for the international launch. The restaurant will likely feature Bored Ape NFTs everywhere, much like the current location in California.
Where will Bored & Hungry open its second NFT restaurant?
This fall, the restaurant NFT group Food Fighters Universe (FFU) takes Bored & Hungry overseas. Its second physical restaurant will open in Seoul, South Korea, much to collectors’ delight!
Accordingly, the Gangnam District of Seoul will inspire the store’s design. Meanwhile, the menu will resemble its current California-based location. From “Mutant” vegan smashburgers to “Bored” beef smashburgers, collectors will enjoy unique Bored Ape-themed flavors.
Of course, clients will only be able to pay in crypto. The new payment system comes from Devour. The company actually developed the tech specifically for Bored & Hungry NFT restaurants.
Surprisingly, each FFU NFT holder will benefit from a monthly free meal. In addition, the team promised to offer real-life events, airdrops, and more surprises soon to come!
What happened to the first Bored Ape-themed pop-up?
One month ago, Bored & Hungry became viral as the first NFT restaurant. Initially, the restaurant was designed as a pop-up store for 90 days. However, the location became permanent after attracting over 1,500 clients in a single day. Now you can find it in Long Beach, California.
From packages to soda cans, every item of the location featured Bored Ape NFTs. This clever branding strategy might turn the Bored & Hungry Korean location into a real hit; after all, it will open in the heart of the K-Pop world, Gangnam.
“As a Korean-American, I am extremely grateful and excited that the beginning of our global expansion is going to start where my parents were born,” said FFU co-founder Kevin Seo. “Finally, my mom knows what I do for a living.”
