Women-led NFT project Boss Beauties is all set to unveil its new limited-edition 1/1 NFT series: Boss Beauties Role Models! This drop will go down in history as the first NFT art collection to be on display at the United Nations.
Boss Beauties Role Models
Cathy Hackl, the Godmother of the Metaverse, collaborated with Boss Beauties to release the Role Models limited Series. According to the team, “this is dedicated to the young girls who were told NO as well as women who said, just watch me.”
The Collection features real-life Boss Beauties throughout history and modern Boss Beauties making history in the workforce today. So the narrative revolves around breaking glass ceilings! Real-life role models will receive their Boss Beauty portrait as a gift. In addition, they can work with the NFT project to educate and empower women worldwide.
Meanwhile, the limited edition 1/1 Historic Boss Beauty Role Models will be sold via charity auction culminating on March 7th, 2022. The proceeds raised will support Boss Beauties Scholarship Fund for Women and Girls through their non-profit My Social Canvas. Then, the live-streamed event will include a full exhibition of the new Collection. Additionally, the day would be filled with keynotes and panels with speakers from well-known brands, corporations, and influencers.
“The unveiling of Boss Beauty Role Models at the United Nations is a historical moment that we are incredibly proud of,” said Lisa Mayer, Founder and CEO of Boss Beauties. “Having a collection with such a strong and inspiring message be the first NFT art collection to display at the U.N. is truly monumental. Most importantly, it resembles our larger mission to empower Women and Girls at the forefront of technology, leadership and creativity.”
This is a huge win for the project and the entire NFT space! Boss Beauties perfectly shows that contrary to common belief, NFTs are more than just throwing money around. Projects are actually making a change in the world through their own advocacies.
