Launched last December, Boss Cat Rocket Club (BCRC) already has three NFT collections to its name. These are Cardano-based NFT collections, namely, Boss Cat NFT, Boss Cat Rockets, and Rocket parts. The project has also launched Boss Planet Real Estates. Now, Boss Cat Rocket Club is all set to drop its fourth collection, VOX Cats.
In a short span of time, Boss Cat Rocket Club has established itself as one of the hottest Cardano projects. Indeed, three NFT collections from the project are ranked in the top 10 Cardano NFT collections for all-time sales volume. What’s more, the project boasts a thriving community of 73,000 members—the highest for any Cardano NFT project.
First things first—What is Boss Cat Rocket Club?
Founded by a BAYC community member, Blue Magic, Boss Cat Rocket Club’s genesis collection includes 9,999 space-bound cats. These algorithmically-generated cats sold out in under 2 minutes! Next, the project dropped the BCRC Rocket, featuring 3,333 rocket parts. Holders with three matching Rocket Parts were then able to send them to an official Assembly Wallet in exchange for a fully assembled Rocket. There will only ever be 1,111 fully assembled rockets.
In the past three months, Boss Cat Rocket Club has become a favourite among community members. As a matter of fact, several members have talked about how the project has positively impacted their lives.
“Our community members tell stories of having bought cars and made down payments for houses after having minted our Boss Cats and Rocket Parts,” BCRC team members said. “Truly life-changing projects for so many.”
Moreover, BCRC is endorsed by several top celebrities. The project’s brand ambassador is NBA Legend Baron Davis. This is actually the first time an All-Star NBA player has joined a Cardano NFT project as a brand ambassador. Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, Eric Bobo from Cypress Hill, DJ/Producer Hook N Sling, Actor Jonathan Sadowski, and more have also endorsed the project.
Boss Planet: BCRC’s own metaverse
Boss Cat Rocket Club also has its own metaverse called Boss Planet. A voxel-based, play-to-earn, infinite social gaming experience, Boss Planet will have several in-game avatars. The project will airdrop one such avatar collection, VOX Cats, to all BCRC NFT holders in April.
Later this year, BCRC will also launch The Boss Planet Token, the metaverse’s native currency. Players will need the token for all transactions in the virtual world. Apart from this, the token will also have a host of applications across the Cardano ecosystem.
Besides, the project will soon launch the Boss Planet Marketplace, where players can buy and sell all VOX assets. We are talking furniture, landscaping, buildings, art, and much more! In addition, the marketplace will feature content created by the community and assets released by the project’s official partners.
All in all, Boss Cat Rocket Club is off to a promising start. It has nailed its artwork, community-building, and utility—extremely important things a project needs to succeed in the NFT space.
