Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has hopped on the NFT bandwagon with his latest collection. In collaboration with artist Rikognition, the NFTs have dropped on Ethernity, an authenticated NFT project.
The legendary boxer turned politician and philanthropist is popularly known as the “PacMan”. He is the only eight-division boxing champion in history and holds five major titles.

What’s in Manny Pacquiao’s NFT Collection?
The centrepiece of Pacquiao’s NFT Collection is a “highly realistic 1 of 1 moving portrait” of the legend. Los Angeles-based Rikognition created the work called PacMan.
“The piece is inspired by Pacquiao’s career, in which a moment in time can feel both fleeting yet lasting an eternity,” the artist said. “The juxtaposition of animated movement with hyperrealism invokes surreal but grounded action, which is larger than life.”
Furthermore, the winner of the auction will receive two tickets to Pacquiao’s upcoming boxing match. On August 21, in Los Angeles, Pacquiao will fight Yordenis Ugas. Moreover, the winner will get a meet and greet opportunity with the legend himself.
Meanwhile, the other NFTs in the collection will be part of Ethernity’s collectible card series. These will be available in various editions such as “Legendary”, “Epic”, and “Common”. The buyers of the trading cards will be added to raffles and the winners will take home signed gloves, fight robe, and fight worn boots.
Pacquiao is not the first boxer to launch NFTs. Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., for instance, launched his NFT collection on Rarible in May. Meanwhile, a Muhammad Ali NFT collection dropped on WAX last week, immortalizing the boxing legend in NFTs.
