Bybit, the Singapore-based cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, enters the NFT industry with a dedicated NFT marketplace. It will offer users the option to use multi-chain transactions, making it easier for everyone to navigate the marketplace.
The marketplace opens on January 20th, and people are already looking forward to seeing what is available there.
Bybit has already confirmed that the marketplace will feature collections by Monster Galaxy, including mystery boxes. Additionally, the marketplace offers exclusive artworks curated by ONBD Artworks and REALY Apparel.
Bybit hopes that this shift into NFTs will help the company progress and gain even more users. Established in 2018, it already has a global userbase. It is one of the world’s fastest-growing crypto exchanges, and expanding into NFTS is a clear sign of progression.
“While some may be sceptical of the investment value of NFTs, it remains a fact that NFTs not only make it possible for everyone to participate in and appreciate digital ownership, but also enable artists and creators to exercise control over the ownership of their work,” said Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit.
Meanwhile, Bybit intends for the NFT marketplace to become a premier universal platform. It wants to unite artists, creators, and collectors in one space.
Finally, Bybit users will not be required to use their personal crypto wallet address on the marketplace. Users will trade through their Bybit spot accounts, which allows a broader range of their customer base to explore NFTs.
