Cool Cats have announced that they are having a costume party. What’s different with this is that it’s not only open to Cool Cats holders but anyone who wants to go. Each participant will receive an exclusive NFT from the project. The event runs from October 29th to November 5th.
About the Competition
The competition began on October 29th, and based on lasting through the Halloween period, is set to end on November 5th, therefore giving people enough time to submit their entries. The rules they have stated are simple. 1. Put on a cool cats costume and take a photo
2. Submit your entry through Google Forms (can see the link for entry here)
Additionally, the costumes need to be “family-friendly” according to the website. If entrants do not want to post their face and if they don’t want to be in it at all, could dress up their pet or even digitally dress your cool cat.
On the NFT that’ll be given, they said: “We will be dropping an exclusive achievement award NFT to all participants, and also showcasing the community entries on our website! (only if you opt-in).”
About Cool Cats
Cool Cats are an NFT avatar project based on the NFT blockchain that is often classed as one of the top projects in the NFT space. It’s ranked #11 all-time on Opensea ahead of projects like Artblocks, Cyberkongz and Cryptoadz to name a few. They originally released 9,999 Cool Cats earlier this year with different rarities for 0.06 ETH. Since its launch, 52.3k ETH has been traded on Opensea. Many people were put on to Cool Cats after boxing superstar Mike Tyson, who has 5.6 million Twitter followers, changed his Twitter profile picture to Cool Cat #2724 (however it’s since changed). He bought it for 1.45 ETH in July. The floor price is currently at 7.04 ETH. Over time, we have seen many ups and downs for Cool Cats. Notably, earlier this month someone received a 300 ETH offer for a rare cat but declined.
