Crazy Frog is making a comeback through the NFT space! The Millennial fad from the early 2000s has returned this year with a new hit single called “Tricky.” It also promised a brand new album sometime next year. However, the real crown jewel is its upcoming music NFT Collection on Metabeats!

Before we proceed, allow us to give a bit of background about Crazy Frog. It is a Swedish CGI-animated character and musician created in 2003 by actor and playwright Erik Wernquist. It spawned a worldwide hit single with a cover version of “Axel F” from the soundtrack of Beverly Hills Cop. The track was a huge commercial success and even reached the number one spot in some countries.
Why is Crazy Frog Jumping into the NFT Space?
Crazy Frog has already been subject to several “unofficial” NFT launches, which the official Crazy Frog Twitter account has declared to be scams. The team made it clear that the real Crazy Frog NFT drops on December 23 on the Metabeats network.
Despite the backlash, Crazy Frog is leaning into the hate. “Won’t cancel the NFTs,” promised Crazy Frog after noting he’s still the most hated Frog in the world even after his 15-year hiatus.
