U.S based cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced their next endeavor – a Kraken NFT marketplace. Unfortunately, the Web3 ecosystem can seem intimidating for many, resulting in missed opportunities. Kraken’s mission is to develop a marketplace that provides seamless transactions between peers regardless of currency and daily blockchain burdens.

With a single interface for all assets, users can snipe from NFTs from collections on any chain within the Kraken Marketplace. Additionally, all purchases through the Kraken NFT marketplace will experience zero network fees.
This promise comes with users not having to worry about spikes in network fees when trying to further their collections. So if BAYC sends gas fees to the moon, don’t worry, for Kraken NFT will make transactions headache-free…allegedly.
The official waitlist opened Tuesday as users began to sign up for Kraken’s vision for a “complete solution for exploring, curating and securing your NFT collection.” At this time, the public’s opinion on the Kraken NFT marketplace remains skeptical. As the marketplace promises new and exclusive features, this isn’t the first major exchange to release a marketplace platform that users found lacking key features.
However, Kraken’s marketplace offers increased accessibility and even rewards for creators. If Kraken becomes branded as the marketplace that fully supports creators, there might be an interesting shift in the future. As for now, those interested in what Kraken’s NFT marketplace has to offer can sign up for the waitlist.
Founded in 2011, Kraken ranks among the world’s largest global digital asset exchanges based on Euro volume and liquidity. Trusted by millions of traders, Kraken was the first crypto firm to receive a state-chartered banking license in the United States.
Not to mention being one of the first exchanges to offer spot trading with margin, regulated derivatives, and index services. As Kraken pushes farther down the Web3 rabbit hole, investors are looking forward to their next move.
