Crypto Fight Club Metaversus is introducing a rather unique approach to community-building. The project is pitting Animetas against Vogu Collective in a poll competition. The winning community will be the subject of a limited edition of 120 NFT Artworks.
Crypto Fight Club Metaversus’ Unique Concept
Metaversus is basically gamifying the concept of an NFT reveal. It is not unusual for NFT projects to host a minting event then reveal the artwork several days or weeks later. So Metaversus is injecting another layer of mystery because the subject of the NFT Collectible will be a surprise. Plus, two formidable communities will be competing for the spot.
Basically, purchasing the NFT gives you the power to vote whether the subject will be Animetas or Vogu Collective NFTs. Once sold out, the artwork with the majority of votes wins and becomes the final NFT. So if you purchase the NFT and vote for Vogu but if Animetas wins, you get the Animetas NFT artwork.
According to the team, their main goal is to support and raise the profile of both communities through healthy competition. So to engage the respective communities to vote, they pledged to use 20% of the sales to sweep the floor of the winning project. In addition, the proponent Rhett / Mankind will post a Youtube video featuring the winning project. The unspoken benefit here, of course, is the bragging rights!
Why is Animetas and Vogu Collective a Good Match?
Out of all the projects in the NFT Space, what makes Aninemat and Vogu Collective an equal match? First, we have to look at the commercial performance of the two projects particularly the floor price. The Vogu Collective pulled in a lifetime tradeable volume of 8000 ETH or roughly $32 Million. Meanwhile, the floor price is 0.19 ETH. Animetas has a slight but negligible advantage with a total volume of 9300 ETH or $37 Million and a floor price of 0.25 ETH.
The second metric is the community reach. Animetas has 23,000 Twitter followers, while the Vogu Collective has 29,000. So the two projects are neck-and-neck in terms of sales figures and social media reach. This is crucial to making Metaversus successful because it won’t be entertaining if one project wins by a landslide vote.
Animetas is a new generative art NFT collection consisting of 10101 unique, 1 of 1 generative pixel art avatars. The project is currently working on the hovercars airdrop for the NFT holders this coming November. This brings the project one step closer to another exciting aspect on the roadmap: the hovercar racing game. Meanwhile, The Vogu Collective features 7,777 Unique Robot Avatars. The project just completed its companion airdrop for NFT holders by giving away robotic mutts!
