Cyberpunk RPG Game Neon District gave a sneak peek of the behind-the-scenes actions and Q3 updates that have been keeping them busy. Blockade Games, the game developer behind this blockchain RPG, highlighted major UI/UX milestones for “Neon District Version 2.0.”
Neon District is a cyberpunk blockchain RPG. It’s set in an enclave within the refuge city, Unity – a city with staggering contrasts. The gameplay revolves around players battling to progress through a sci-fi dystopia and play-to-earn NFTs. Basically, they collect an arsenal of items and abilities with each encounter. Then, they can buy, sell and trade these NFTs on the Marketplace.
Neon District’s Q3 Update
The team reported that the UI/UX components and elements of Neon District Version 2.o had been defined and solidified. In parallel, the UI/UX flows are now in the final stages. Finally, the team is boarding new team members to speed up development.
Going into detail, the team confirmed that the artists already drew and redesigned All of the 400+ Neon District Season Zero assets. In effect, it now fits on the in-game character rigs for battle and equipment. In terms of the assets, 5 new base armor sets are coming to the game. It includes all rarities for the Doctor, Ghost, Jack, Chance, and Demon armor sets, and 6 new base weapons to the Loot Crate.
The team also reiterated that using a Shell in-game requires bridging the asset over to Polygon. So the developers need to build a special mechanic into Neon District Portal in order to facilitate this. All shells migrated over to Polygon for use in-game will come with a drop of the base asset to apply the Shell too. Players don’t need to worry about the gas costs incurred in transferring assets because they will be reimbursed in Neon.
Full public release of Neon District Version 2.0 on Q4 is coming up fast, so make sure you follow the game’s official blog.
