DeadFellaz Collaborates with Gilson to Create Custom Snowboards and Skis

Deadfellaz is a collection of 10,000 undead NFTs. Founded by anonymous creators “Betty” and “Psych,” the collection has become one of the most notable female co-led projects on Web3. Now the NFT project is partnering with Gilson — one of the leading community and artist-driven snowboard and ski makers in the world.

The collaboration, brokered by UTA, marks a significant milestone in NFT history. Deadfellaz and Gilson will offer the production of 1-of-1 products linked to individual NFT assets in more than 10,000 collections.

According to Betty: “We are excited to collaborate with Gilson – a brand we feel shares our focus on creativity and inclusivity – providing an opportunity for the Horde and the extended Web3 community to rep Deadfellaz on the mountain.”

Nicholas Gilson also shares the same sentiments about the partnership. He said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Deadfellaz team on what is shaping up to be one of the coolest drops in NFT history. Regardless of whether you ride, ski, want to learn, or are collecting as an original art piece, we are pumped to bring your NFT custom to life.”

The collab project is an example of an innovative shopping experience elevated through the use of NFTs. For instance, during checkout, there will be an NFT ownership verification.

In addition, forging will feel more like a mint than a traditional eCommerce transaction. Basically, holders will only be able to forge with the NFTs they own.

Lastly, Deadfellaz will accept ETH and fiat currencies as payment as it continues to reshape the commerce for luxury assets, fashion, and accessories.
