Doja Cat is one of the latest pop stars to join the NFT market. The singing celebrity’s new collection called ‘Planet Doja’ is about to drop on OneOf, an NFT platform renowned for its eco-friendly technology.

‘Planet Doja,’ where pop meets technology
After taking the music industry by storm with her unique, up-beat singles, popstar Doja Cat tapped into the NFT market unexpectedly. The artist is about to launch her first non-fungible token collection perfectly called ‘Planet Doja.’
In sum, there will be a total of 26,000 limited-edition collectibles, so fans must prepare to get their NFT as soon as possible.
Bidders and NFT enthusiasts can start buying the first NFTs on September 8th via OneOf, an eco-friendly NFT platform. In order to make a purchase, collectors must create a new account on the platform, then simply pick their favorite non-fungible token.

What will the ‘Planet Doja’ NFT collection offer?
The collection will be divided into three distinct drops, each with its own tier: diamond, gold, and platinum. For the first drop, the popstar has prepared gold and platinum tiers only.
Each gold and platinum tier costs between $5 and $100. Collectors who purchase golden NFTs will automatically sign up to win exclusive tickets to one of Doja Cat’s upcoming concerts. Meanwhile, platinum tier NFT owners are eligible to win VIP golden concert tickets which involve premium seats, merch, and other surprise perks.
However, the artist’s biggest fans are actually expecting the diamond tier drop. The lucky buyer of this premium NFT will automatically receive VIP golden tickets to Doja Cat’s future concert. Unlike the other tiers, the diamond one will be auctioned with a starting price of $2,500.
In addition, OneOf – the NFT platform hosting all drops – will also auction off its own tier. The winning bidder of this auction will receive a gold tier NFT for each additional drop of the ‘Planet Doja’ collection forever.

Promoting green NFT solutions
Doja Cat has been honest about her knowledge regarding the NFT industry, revealing that her primary goal is to launch her own collection in a green, accessible manner:
“I don’t know that much about NFT’s. But what I do know is that they can be bad for the environment and cost a fortune. Mine won’t. Get over to OneOf.com and check out my first NFT collection now,” she says.
As a result, Doja Cat has chosen to launch ‘Planet Doja’ in partnership with eco-friendly NFT platform OneOf.
The platform, backed by the Tezos blockchain, is using the PoS mechanism, which consumes considerably less energy when minting. By comparison, the ‘classic’ proof-of-work (PoW) operating system requires plenty of energy, thus damaging the environment more.
In fact, OneOf stated that minting an NFT there takes as much energy as posting a tweet. This perk is highly appreciated as more and more collectors choose platforms that protect the environment.
Now, Doja Cat’s biggest fans can enjoy her presence on the NFT market in an eco-friendly, accessible way.
