Doodles NFT collection is continuing to rise in price. Now, as 2021 closes, the floor price is 6.6 ETH. It has been a remarkable few months for the relatively new NFT project. Realistically, the rise of Doodles isn’t unexpected.
Doodles first emerged in September, teasing images of their upcoming collection. Immediately, it gained traction. The artwork by the artist Burnt Toast is incredibly unique, and there was a rush to find out more.
Consequently, Doodles had to lock their Discord to prevent gas wars at the NFT mint.
The public mint took place on October 18th, priced at 0.123 ETH per Doodle NFT. However, it didn’t last long due to the rush to buy one of the 10,000 NFTs.
Doodles NFT sold out immediately. In fact, I tried to get one myself, but the price with gas was well over $9000. Doodles were one of the most sought after mints this year. Additionally, Doodles has had great success in the secondary market. Many Doodles have sold for vast sums of money. In the last three days alone, several sales of over $250,000 have happened.
In addition to having a unique artistic style, the Doodles NFT are primarily community-based.
As the floor price grows, it will be interesting to see how the project develops. Meanwhile, there is an extensive roadmap.
