EDM Legend Alesso is releasing his debut NFT Collection on Music Platform OneOf. The award-winning Swedish DJ and record producer is starting off his foray into NFTs with “Cosmic Genesis” which celebrates his signature rave-oriented pieces.
Cosmic Genesis: Alesso’s Maiden NFT Drop
Rough Draft Studios created the NFT Collection featuring a series of video clips further subdivided into Chapters 1 – 4. The subject? Exploring a warped distance galaxy with Alesso’s music as the backdrop.
To tease the fans and have a nice build-up, Alesso is releasing his NFT Series as three different drops, including a single one-of-a-kind token. The first release last week was an open edition Decoder NFT that enables fans to decipher messages that Alesso will post to his social media and win a special NFT. The Decoder was available to claim for free until Sunday via OneOf.com.
Meanwhile, the 2nd Drop is happening today, October 14. Taking center stage is The Arrival – Gold Tier Video Chapter I.
Finally, The Platinum, Diamond and “OneOf” single-issue NFT tokens will all drop on November 4 while Alesso performs at the world’s first music festival. The EDM Legend is one of the artists headlining Metapurse’s Dreamverse at Terminal 5 in New York City. Moreover, this third and final Drop holds a myriad of exclusive curated experiences and collectibles from Alesso and unlocks Chapters II-IV of the video series.
What is OneOf?
OneOf is a green NFT platform specifically for the music industry and directly connects music artists with their fans. It runs on the Tezos blockchain, which claims to consume 2 million times less energy than other networks.
The two-month-old platform recently teamed up with Mass media holding company iHeartRadio. Together, they gave away 1 million NFTs at the music festival in Las Vegas. Then, it held an auction for a 26,000 token collection from Doja Cat; a single edition NFT sold for $180,000, making it the single largest auction transaction on Tezos.
