Elon Musk is at it again, making fun of the NFT community. In a tweet to his 66.7 million followers, the richest man in the world made light of NFTs with a therapy based meme.
This isn’t the first time that Elon Musk has made this kind of NFT joke. Previously, he shared a popular toilet etiquette meme and declared that “web3 sounds like bs”. Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, worth over $260 billion. It’s probably best he doesn’t like NFTs. It means we can still get our hands on them.
Elon Musk disliking NFTs proves we are super early
Elon Musk is a business magnate and entrepreneur. His companies use some of the most advanced technology known to man. He sends rockets into space and creates driverless cars. If Elon isn’t aware of how many different use cases there are for NFTs, we are extremely early. Many people consider NFTs to be just an image, completely unaware of how they can and will be used going forward.
Finally, this week, Elon Musk isn’t the only 0ne making fun of NFTs. The popular TV show South Park has created an NFT episode, poking fun at the community. The old saying goes, first they mock you, then they copy you. Presumably, it won’t be long before we see an Elon NFT collection. Hopefully, in the future, the Time 2021 Person of the Year will change his mind about NFTs.
