Recently, Beeple, a widely popular digital artist, shared a picture of his NFT art, which resembles an original mutant ape.
The NFT community was constantly comparing it to the mutant ape. Whereas some appreciated the artist’s version more than the original ape.
Beeple and MAYC
Just a few days ago, a mutant serum was brought for 888.0 ETH by Taylor Gerring. After which, he used this mega serum and generated a rare MAYC ape in a live stream on the Twitch platform. (see picture)
So, Beeple joined the ongoing hype around the newly generated mutant ape from the mega serum. As a result, he randomly designed his version of the above-mentioned Mutant ape. Clearly, the artist’s sketch is a parody version of the mutant ape #30,004.

Currently, the whole NFT community is a fan of the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Already, several celebrities are proud members of BAYC. Furthermore, Beeple’s sketch certainly shows his admiration for BAYC as well.
Just recently, we saw the launch of PAYC (Phunky Ape Yacht Club) and PHAYC, which are two parody NFT projects imitating the original BAYC. However, OpenSea and Rarity delisted all NFTs associated with PAYC and PHAYC as they were violating IP rights to BAYC.
