Ezel.life, an NFT company, who focus on maximising the value of original artwork, has announced a partnership with Frida Kahlo’s family to show her untold stories in the metaverse. The project will preview at the upcoming Miami Art Week, at the Sagamore Hotel. The metaverse aspect is the red house, which is Frida’s family home, which is an NFT.
Ezel.life is a platform that will put artworks from artists around the world on the blockchain. Whether through working with their family, or themselves if they’re still alive. They aim to expand the reach of a given artist through the blockchain, making people worldwide aware of their work. Another major goal is to grow digital asset value and associated revenue streams. Further information regarding the events in Miami Art Week is as follows. The exhibition is from Monday, November 29th to Sunday, December 5th, 2021 10 am to 10 pm, with the speakers’ panel on November 30th from 1 pm to 3 pm. About Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo was a self-taught Mexican painter. She was known mainly for her portraits and work inspired by the nature and artefacts of Mexico. She was born in 1907 and died in 1954, aged only 47. Her artwork was relatively unknown until the 1970s. By the early 1990s, she had become not only a recognized figure in art history but also regarded as an icon for Chicanos, the feminism movement and the LGBTQ+ movement. Kahlo’s work has also been celebrated internationally as emblematic of Mexican national and indigenous traditions and by feminists.
