The project will preview at the upcoming Miami Art Week, at the Sagamore Hotel. The metaverse aspect is the red house, which is Frida’s family home, which is an NFT.

About Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo was a self-taught Mexican painter. She was known mainly for her portraits and work inspired by the nature and artefacts of Mexico. She was born in 1907 and died in 1954, aged only 47. Her artwork was relatively unknown until the 1970s. By the early 1990s, she had become not only a recognized figure in art history but also regarded as an icon for Chicanos, the feminism movement and the LGBTQ+ movement. Kahlo’s work has also been celebrated internationally as emblematic of Mexican national and indigenous traditions and by feminists.
