Nicholas Kirkwood x White Rabbit
As more luxury brands step into the metaverse, it was only a matter of time before the innovative Nicholas Kirkwood seized the opportunity. Now, he is jumping down the rabbit hole with White Rabbit to drop an NFT collection. They recently made some noise in the Metaverse Fashion Week, receiving nothing but praise from various parties.
The White Rabbit Collection ONE features 8765 White Rabbits, while the Collection ZERO features 765 White Rabbits. Although there will be other NFTs in the future, these will be the only ones that have utility in the GATE ecosystem. At the time of writing, the floor price sits at 0.018 ETH, with 462 ETH traded to date.
The project is partnering with The Dematerialised NFT marketplace, which uses the LUKSO blockchain. This comes as no surprise given Kirkwood’s focus on sustainability initiatives. This NFT marketplace boasts an energy-efficient blockchain network, creating an environmentally friendly NFT minting process.
If you have been somewhat active in the fashion industry, Nicholas Kirkwood is certainly no stranger. Over the years, the shoe designer has won awards in the British Fashion Awards, Footwear News, Vogue Fund Awards, and many others.
He has always been known to use unconventional materials and techniques, combining traditional methods with cutting-edge technology in his designs. He will now enter the metaverse as he continues to empower the 21st-century woman to look, feel, and be extraordinary.
