NFT artist Ali Sabet’s collaboration with the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has seen the third and final Sabet BAYC NFT sell out in 15 minutes. Sabet made three NFTs in the Bored Ape theme, dropping them between August 4 -5. All three sold out with interest growing across the series.
Sabet expressed his excitement at the success of the sales. He also added that he would be gifting those that managed to get all three NFTs. The NFTs were sold on KnownOrigin with 25 editions for each. The prices for the NFTs averaged around $1,500 each.

Sabet used the listing to pay tribute to Bored Ape Yacht Club – who recently opened their own hangout in Decentraland. He said in admiration: “The Bored Ape Yacht Club consists of some of the greatest human beings I’ve met in the NFT community. It’s with great love and appreciation for this community that I’ve created this piece.”
The community also snapped up the chance to grab these NFTs with the second version selling out in about an hour. However, it took just 15 minutes for the third one to sell out.
Sabet is an Iranian American artist and one of the top-selling artists in the NFT space. He is known for contemporary art and character design with eye-catching colours. Mostly, for his Ugly Kitties but recently also his collaboration with George Lopez . Additionally, his set of female portraits with distorted features and colours. These figures also feature in the Sabet BAYC NFT Ape Energy 2021 collection.
Impressively, Sabet is also the creator of Pixopop Cuties- a set of rabbit-like characters created in 1999. However, they have only started recieving their deserved recognition now due to the NFT Scene.
