The inaugural GAM3 Awards are coming, and they will celebrate the best of web3 gaming. The GAM3 Awards is ‘The Grammys of Web3 gaming‘, and many industry leaders are working together to make this possible. Polkastarter Gaming is the host of this huge event, which takes place on December 15th. Furthermore, Polkastarter Gaming’s Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter channels will all show the event.

The GAM3 Awards celebrate the best of web3 gaming
Web3 gaming has come a long way in the last year, and now the industry has a vast awards event to celebrate this fantastic progression. GAM3 Awards brings together some of the industry’s most essential and celebrated people for a night of unbelievable awards and prizes.
Over 200 web3 games can win the sixteen huge awards on offer. The judges will vote on which studios will win the top prizes in the first GAM3 Awards ceremony. Furthermore, they will also consider community sentiment. Significantly, the result will reflect 90% of the judge’s and 10% of the community’s votes.
The judges have decades of gaming experience and include former Square Enix CTO who directed games such as Sonic: Unleashed and Final Fantasy XIV Online (Yoshihisa Hashimoto) and former Senior Director of Partnerships at Electronic Arts (Edward Chang).
Additionally, industry leaders from companies such as Electronic Arts, Riot Games, Zynga, Xbox Game Studios, Amazon Gaming, and Unity Technologies are also involved in the judging process.
What awards are on offer?
There are 16 web3 game awards, including the ultimate honor – Game of the Year. Other awards include the ‘best of’ sections. Best Content Creator, Mobile Game, Esports, and RPG all feature in the prizes.
Significantly, winners of the first-ever GAM3 Awards will enjoy a share of $300,000 worth of prizes. Not only do the winners receive industry recognition, but there are also valuable prizes on offer. The rewards come from the event sponsors, including Immutable X and others.
Community voting opens in mid-Movemeber on the Polkastarter Gaming website. The winners will be announced at the GAM3 Awards ceremony.
