CryptAxx is set to become the first project offering 10,000 generative NFT guitars on the Ethereum blockchain.
Each Axx NFT doubles as an exclusive membership card to The Axx Club. This members-only club enables Axx NFT owners to access music-related opportunities.

What does the CryptAxx NFT include?
The CryptAxx NFT is a unique collectable with billions of combinations and 4 levels of rarity. Collectables mirror real-life guitars and include artist-inspired ones, sunbursts, metallics and more.
Each guitar NFT doubles as a membership card that gives the NFT owners access to The Axx Club.
Through the Axx Club, NFT owners can benefit from opportunities such as workshops, equipment giveaways, online and in-person concert airdrops and 10,000 provably-rare collectable Axxes. Members can also meet their favourite musicians and watch exclusive online and in-person concerts.
The Axxes are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and hosted on IPFS. Each CryptAxx costs 0.1 ETH.
A guitar NFT by musicians, for musicians
CryptAxx stands out from the crowd by putting musicians’ needs at the forefront. Four friends, who also happen to be musicians and music fans, created CryptAxx. Evidently, they understand the urgent need for a community-based alternative to the archaic music industry system.
Eddie Johnson, CryptAxx’s primary artist and co-founder for CryptAxx, explains CryptAxx’s mission:
“As a musician and music lover for 20+ years, I’ve always wanted to deliver an experience that allows musicians and fans to connect on a deeper level – without all of the bad feelings and tension that come with the typical deals and tours.
Musicians should be rewarded to create and to perform, not be slaves to the road on endless tours just to make a buck, or pinned down by low paying streaming deals. We want to upend the way the music industry looks at delivering value for musicians and fans alike.”

CryptAxx Guitar NFTs: When is the drop?
CryptAxx NFT is well on its way to launching publicly. In 2021, the team completed the artwork and traits. In fact, the smart contract was also ready to go.
Now, only whitelisted members can join the Pre-minting on December 18th. Until then you can sign up for the whitelist by joining CryptAxx’s Discord. Reportedly, public launching and minting are set to begin on January 1st, on OpenSea. Plus, community perks will be available soon after.
Why NFTs are taking the music industry by storm
As NFT transactions are both immutable and verifiable, artists have taken to cutting out the middleman and communicating with fans directly.
Basically, the artist gets the money without having to give a percentage of the earnings to their label and management. Then, fans can support their favourite artists. Usually, purchasing their NFTs grants special experiences including receiving albums, concert tickets and merch in their digital wallets.
Actually, artists can also include unlockable features within the contract of their NFT. These range from fan hangouts to having fans invest in a particular song or album. Obviously, this all increases further the NFT’s value.
Kings of Leon, Timbaland, MIA, Grimes, Aphex Twin and Mark Shinoda are some of the artists reaping the benefits of NFTs. In fact, Avenged Sevenfold even run their fan club using NFTs.
