Global football star Zlatan Ibrahimović will drop another NFT collection following the success of his first NFT project. The Swedish football icon will release ‘The Laws of Adrenaline – II’ on MakersPlace on May 12, 2022, at 6 PM CET.
Zlatan Ibrahimović Will Release Second ‘Law of Adrenaline’ NFT Collection
A group of artists with different styles and backgrounds will feature the A.C. Milan striker in their original works. Their pieces, which will be in the NFT collection, are based on Zlatan’s latest autobiography, “Adrenaline: My Untold Stories”. The NFTs highlight his core characteristics as a person and football player: strength, determination, sensitivity, and artistry.
Among these artists is Davide Petraroli with his digital painting entitled “Project Zeus-Zlatan”. Also, singer, author, and ex-graffiti artist High Snob aka Esklator, with the piece “Nel pallone”. Lastly, Giovanni Motta’s “An Untold Story: Go Ramingo” video shows the parable of a little Zlatan who discovers the mystery of life.
The NFT collection is the second of three, running through late June. Any collector who gets at least one open edition in each of the three Zlatan Ibrahimović NFT drops is entitled to a gift.
The project, made in collaboration with “Corriere della Sera”, ArtsLife, Wrong Theory, ArtN, and G-Lor, is part of the project launched by “Corriere” last September.
Craig Palmer, CEO of MakersPlace, said the following about the NFT drop:
“We are excited to continue our partnership with one of the world’s premier athletes, and now successful art patron, Zlatan Ibrahimović. March’s drop was not only a sellout. But GionnyScandal’s sale received a winning bid of 20ETH. Ibra’s fans can enjoy new artwork from Giovanni Motta, Escalator, and Davide Petraroli.”
About Zlatan Ibrahimović and His First NFT Project
At 40 years of age, Zlatan is still phenomenal at playing football. He currently stars as a striker for one of the best clubs in Italy, AC Milan. He has also played for such historic football clubs as Juventus, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.
Additionally, Ibrahimović has scored over 570 career goals. As a result, he’s widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time. He also has won trophies in the biggest leagues in Europe, leading his teams with his incredible physicality, technical ability and finishing.
Zlatan is also a passionate art collector. He has played an active role in the creation of his first NFT collection with Makersplace — an international NFT marketplace that accepts both traditional payments and cryptocurrencies.
In December 2021, he released his first book called “Adrenaline: My Untold Stories.” Eleven quotes from the book inspired each piece of his first NFT project produced in collaboration with ArtsLife, Wrong Theory, and ARTN. Four renowned Italian artists namely GionnyScandal, Hexaract, Paolo Manazza, and Tresoldi created the pieces in the NFT collection.
