More about the Divine Order Expansion
Divine Order is the second set of Season 1: Champions Rise. The set picks up where the Trial of the Gods left off: champions embarking on deadly tasks set by the gods. According to the announcement, the tests had a hidden purpose which will be revealed in the Divine Order. For now, the team gave a preview of the 190+ cards in the upcoming set through an excel file.
With the release of the Divine order, there will only be three God Powers for each domain. Moreover, many of them will have lower power and will be less complex. Thus, choosing a God Power will be simpler and clearer. The team behind the blockchain trading card game joked that “it will also make the first screen a new player sees about half as scary.”
The team also swiftly addressed the criticism that this move means that they are prioritizing casual gamers over hardcore gamers. They explained that “simple game pieces do not necessarily lead to a simple game. A four-year-old can understand how each chess piece moves, but that does not mean chess lacks complexity. We actually see this change as a solid step towards fostering a healthier community.”
The team also shared that everything is in a pretty good state but they are still doing some final tweaks. So, for now, stay in the loop for the latest announcements from the blockchain trading card game’s official Twitter account.
