Gordon Goner Exits Yuga Labs: What Happened?

Yuga Labs co-founder Wylie Aronow announced his leave of absence from the Yuga Labs core team. The founder is doing this to focus on his health. The NFT innovator was diagnosed with congestive heart failure by his doctor. In the Twitter thread announcing his condition, Gordon Goner states that his symptoms are still mild. He further explains he cannot exert himself much, although he can “go on walks, travel and live a mostly normal life.”

He further explains that the condition is progressing pretty fast, meaning he would now need to make some serious changes. The entrepreneur says he lost his twenties to a chronic illness already. Then, when Yuga Labs happened, he went at it full speed ahead. He also states he was working 12 hours a day and never sought balance. He continues to say that the next chapter in his life is to heal and find the balance he seeks.

However, Wylie will continue as a board member and strategic advisor at Yuga Labs. “My confidence in Yuga’s future and @cryptogarga’s leadership are unwavering. Daniel Alegre (@dalegre) soon joining only makes me more bullish.” says Wylie in his Twitter thread. Daniel Alegre is the (soon to be former) President and Chief Operating Officer of gaming giant Activision. Moreover, Wylie also has an optimistic future in sight for his brand.

Well wishers from the entire crypto community have flocked to Gordon to wish him a speedy recovery and well-deserved rest.
