Gutter Cat Gang is on a hunt to “recruit” more unique users by releasing 2 New Species in the Collection.
To recap, the NFT Collectible Project features 3000 cat avatars that unlock exclusive “gang” activities and perks. The Gang is growing through the addition of two new species. That is, users can redeem 3,000 of species #3 and 3,000 of species #4 through Gutter Mint Passes. So the end result is a 12,000 strong Gutter Gang ready to take over the NFT space with its signature “Gang” charm.
Meet the New Gutter Cat Gang Species
To clarify, the Gutter CaGutter’sill remain the Gutter’s premier collection and will forever be capped at 3,000 NFTs. The two new species will join the 3,000 Gutter Rats to collectively form the second tier of Collections.
So who are the lucky Guwho’llint Pass holders who’ll have the chance to acquire the new species?
The project reserved 2500 Gutter Mint Pass NFTs for FREE to the early supporters, meaning those who own Guter Cat and Rat pairings. To elaborate, if you own 3 Gutter Cats and 3 Gutter Rats, you will be eligible to claim 3 Gutter Mint Pass NFTs for free. The free Gutter Mint Passes will be equally distributed for both species (1,250 for species #3 and 1,250 for species #4).
Meanwhile, 1000 Gutter Mint Pass NFTs will be up for grabs through a GUtter-only private sale for a fixed price of 0.75 ETH. Note that it is such a steal because that’s 50% off the public sale price! So if you own a Gutter Cat OR Gutter Rat, you are eligible to purchase Gutter Mint Passes through the Gutter-only Private Sale. The Gutter-only Private Sale Mint Passes will be equally distributed for both species (500 for species #3 and 500 for species #4)
Finally, the last tranch of 2500 Gutter Mint Pass NFTs will be available to purchase via a Public Sale for 1.5 ETH. Everyone is eligible to purchase a Gutter Mint Pass during the Public Sale. The team equally divides the Passes for both species: 1,250 for species #3 and 1,250 for species #4.
Why increase the supply?
One of the factors driving the value of NFTs, particularly collectibles, is the rarity. Hence, Collectible projects often go for the sweet spot of 10,000 NFTs. GCC breaks this mold by increasing its supply. The “eam explained that this move will “have a very positive “impact on the community as a whole.”
The team also cites increasing the unique user base as the main driving force behind the move. By adding two more specGangand increasing the size of the gang, the project will have a more extensive base capable of influencing change. Furthermore, this change in supply will significantly benefit the utility of the tokens. So the priority of the project is to bring utility to individual and multiple GCC NFT holders.
