The Gutter Cat Gang Juice is finally here, and it is proving as divisive as marmite in the NFT community. On the one hand, people are dismissive and liken it to the BAYC Mutant Serum, lacking originality. However, most people in the NFT space love the art and the NFTs.
Essentially, Gutter Juice is an NFT that you use to redeem whenever you want. Released last week, it is the latest installment of the ever-expanding Gutter Cat Gang community.
Meanwhile, the juice transforms your NFT into a new clone, with a remarkable twist on your original NFT. There are four Gutter Juice NFTs for each Gutter Cat Gang NFT Species: Cats, Dogs, Rats and Pigeons.
There are 28,000 Gutter Juice NFTs, with 7,000 for each species. They sold six thousand at a public Dutch auction, and 12,000 went to OG Gutter species owners. The Juice vials will go in a ‘Clone Machine’ at a later date.
Some in the community argue that this is simply regurgitating the BAYC Mutant Serum drop and lacks originality.
However, the Gutter Cat Gang is constantly growing, and this is just the latest in a long line of releases.
Furthermore, the Gutter Juice allows new people to enter the Gutter Gang. The original Gutter Cat Gang NFT collection has a floor price of 5.49 ETH.
Notably, you can use the Gutter Juice to create an entirely new Gutter Cat Clone if you don’t already own one. The Gutter Cat Gang is a massive project, and the possibility to enter for a fraction of the price should not be overlooked.
