This Christmas, the renowned basketball player Malik Monk launched the Gutter Kicks NFTs to his fans while helping U.S. families hit by tornadoes. In order to do so, Monk teamed up with Gutter Cat Gang – and the result is outstanding.
Malik Monk x Gutter Cat Gang launch the 1st ‘Gutter Kicks’ NFT
On December 25th, the Brooklyn Nets played against the Los Angeles Lakers in one of the most anticipated games of the season. There, on the Crypto.com Arena, Malik Monk’s ‘Gutter Kicks’ stood out of the crowd like no other pair of shoes.
Surprisingly, the pair of shoes is featuring a wintery design with icy hues and snowflakes. Of course, the Gutter Cat Gang logo couldn’t miss, along with one of the renowned NFT cat avatars added to the side.
Accordingly, the shoes had been hand painted by artist Andr3wtl Customs. Besides their outstanding designs, the Gutter Kicks NFT reveals Monk’s passion for Gutter Cat Gang. In fact, the basketball player holds a full Gutter set (Gutter Cats, Dogs, Rats and Pigeons NFTs).
However, there’s one more purpose to the Gutter Kicks launch: charity.
A honorable charity NFT auction
Malik Monk and Gutter Cat Gang auctioned off the Gutter Kicks NFT for a whopping 6 ETH in an OpenSea sale. Accordingly, the lucky winner also received a physical pair of shoes and a game-worn jersey. Both real-life assets include the basketball’s autograph, thus increasing their value.
All proceeds generated from this amazing release will go Arkansas families who were heavily affected by recent tornadoes. This is yet another exciting project from the Gutter Cat Gang, which is also planning a real-life golf tournament in partnership with Coinbase.
