In just three hours, the Japanese Inspired MekaVerse NFT project is finally dropping its NFT Collection along with the raffle.
Calling themselves the #MEKAGANG on Twitter, the community around the project has grown. Currently, MekaVerse has more than 150,000 followers on the Twitter platform. The project launched officially on August 28 after creating their Twitter account. Since then, they have worked tirelessly to update their community regularly about their progress. After two months of anticipation, the #MEKAGANG will now be able to get their hands on the MekaVerse NFTs.
MekaVerse NFTs for the #MEKAGANG: NFT and Raffle Drop
Apperently, Japanese Mecha universes inspired the team. Thus, the MekaVerse is a collection of 8,888 generative “Mekas” with varying elements. According to the website, each artwork is original, with its own color palette and creation. This furthers their objective of making each Meka unique. They do this in order to prioritize quality above quantity.
This drop is highly anticipated because the team assured the community that”quality comes first. According to the team, the goal is to make the first drop “as cool as possible” so they can have the freedom to develop the universe.
According to the team, MekaVerse is an ongoing long-term project, and they have a lot of exciting things in the works including real world collectibles. Additionally, they are exploring new ideas and asking new questions. For example, what if your Meka could grow into a Super-Meka? What if you could combine your Mekas? What if you could battle with your Mekas?
Actually, the roadmap shown on their website is just the first version of what’s possible in the MekaVerse. Like with Bored Apes second roadmap, some projects have long term plans. However, the MekaVerse team are secretive about the rest for now.
Meka Raffle Registration
To Mint a Meka NFT, collectors just need to visit the website and select the quantity of Mekas they would like to mint. Then, they will be asked to register and authenticate using Discord or Twitter.
Meanwhile, there will be a waiting period of 24 hours after the team closes the raffle registration. The team will review everyone’s entries and select the raffle winner using a secure server. Tomorrow, October 7, at around 11 PM CET, their website will host a 30-minute event . Through that, participants can check if their ticket was selected.
If you won a MekaVerse NFT, you would have 6 hours to mint it. Do not worry if you miss this event. You can always go back to the website after the event during the next 6 hours! As for the gas fees, it will depend on the time where you decide to Mint and it will be a simple transaction fee. The lucky winners will then be able to view their MekaVerse NFTs on OpenSea after it has been minted.
Take note that the complete reveal of MekaVerse NFTs will be on October 10! For now, you can just focus on scoring Meka NFTs!
