HTC Vive is breaking down barriers between the real and virtual worlds with the launch of its NFT Gallery. The new platform will remarkably support VR, AR and XR pieces. The VIVE Arts global art trading platform will definitely step up HTC’s VR game!
The virtual reality brand of HTC Corporation have been relentlessly pushing the growth and innovation in the XR Space since 2016. It has successfully launch hardware such as its titular virtual reality headsets and accessories. Moreover, its been promoting applications of VR in sectors like business and arts. So the new new NFT gallery is very much in line with its vision.
Exploring HTC Vive’s VR-Focused NFT Gallery
In the platform, creators will have complete control over the number of NFT editions and the format of the sale. To push for scalability and ease of use, it will accept and support both fiat and cryptocurrencies.
The inaugural sale on December 17 is in partnership with the Mucha Foundation. It will feature NFTs of iconic Art Nouveau masterpieces by renowned Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939). The sale, Timeless Mucha, will coincide with the opening of the exhibition ‘Mucha to Manga – The Magic of the Line’ in Taipei. Then, a new NFT series will drop monthly throughout the duration of the exhibition, concluding with a special auction in April 2022.
Cher Wang, Co-Founder and Chairwoman of HTC is confident that the platform will further “enhance the rich, growing world of digital art.” In addition, it will open up “opportunities for digital creativity, innovation and connection using blockchain technology.”
