Tonino and Ferrucio Jr., owners and heirs of the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum, announce their NFT collection. For the first time in the iconic supercar’s history, it is issuing and selling the rarest pieces from the museum’s private relics as NFTs.
Elysium Bridge is collaborating with the museum’s pivot to NFTs. It is a new NFT platform linked to a series of events and physical auctions. It also boasts an exclusive audience that is part of the scene of major cities around the world, including affluent cities Monte Carlo and Dubai. Thus, it is the perfect partner because Lamborghini is luxury in wheels.
The Lamborghini Museum Move to NFTs
“A piece of History” will be held at the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum and will feature priceless artworks. The museum guarantees that this is a one-off opportunity for collectors. This event is the only chance to own the unique pieces and admire them in every minute detail.
Aside from the artwork, the technique to digitize the relics of the Lamborghini brand is also a first of its kind. The museum will use a special photographic technique called Light Painting. Photographer Renftle immortalized the Lamborghini Museum’s Memorabilia in its full glory using this technique. So the pieces will exude the original colors with extreme fidelity to the original and highest possible resolution.
Enrico Branchetti and Patrick Jusic, co-founders of Elysium Bridge, shared that this NFT Drop won’t just be an auction. “The event will be a real journey of discovery of the unique pieces at auction, revealing historical backgrounds and details that have never been made public and until now have only been known by the Lamborghini family itself.”
In addition, six internationally renowned artists (not yet announced) will take part in the occasion and release digital artworks.
Ties to Crypto and Industry Check
Lamborghini is a special brand to the crypto community. The exponential price appreciation of Bitcoin gave birth to Bitcoin Millionaires sporting a red Lambo. Since then, the community would often ask, “When Lambo?” when speculating if the price of a coin will also increase. So owning a Lamborgini car is a dream for many crypto holders.
Aside from the Lamborgini Museum, Hispano Suiza launched the world’s first Hypercar NFT Collection back in June. The historic Spanish Brand auctioned off 12 of their Carmen Hypercars. Trillioncollection.com listed the reserve price between 1.55 – 1.65 Million Euros for this lucrative NFT Sale.
The NFT Parking lot is far from empty because DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) also launched an NFT Collection while supercar collector Mario Bauer tokenized his Lamborghini Aventador LP720/4 50th anniversary edition. Meanwhile, McLaren partnered with Tezos blockchain to release NFTs based on the Motorsports team’s Formula 1, IndyCar and Esports team. Most recently, 24H Le Mans released NFTs for the 89th Edition of motorsport’s most revered and prized race.
As expected from an elite brand, there’s a waitlist to participate in the event on September 25. You can try your luck on the Lamborghini museum website and check out the full trailer.
