Boss Beauties Reigns Over the NFT Market
The NFT project has made headlines many times in the past few months for its fantastic 10k NFT collection depicting the lives of young women and girls.
The motto being “A Woman Can Be Everything She Wants,” Boss Beauties collection has focused on a diverse range of young women.
Factors like color, race, ethnicity, language — that have been a barrier for centuries are now being celebrated. The global brand behind the collection My Social Canvas has been working tirelessly for 10 years on multiple fronts.
As they entered the NFT industry, the Boss Beauties collection has become a phenomenon. With a floor price of 0.27 ETH and a total trading volume of 2.8K+ ETH (as of publishing), the collection is one of the most popular NFTs of current times.
If you look at the collection you’ll see, of the 10,000 women, everyone symbolizes a social position. Positions that were previously not-so-easily achievable to women for various reasons.
Boss Beauties also became the first NFT project to be featured on the New York Stock Exchange. “… Nasdaq honored us by announcing our scholarship fund to the entire world,” said the project on their website.
Owning a Boss Beauties piece has its own perks. Not only is it crazy profitable, but the project offers assured free airdrops. They also give you access to their years of works, research, workshops on women empowerment.
My Social Canvas’s interview collection is renowned for featuring CEOs, Olympians, innovators, etc.
Marvel’s Venture into the NFT Space
The biggest film studio on earth joined the NFT and digital collectibles race a few months ago. Before partnering with the Boss Beauties collection, Marvel has already released a few of their own NFTs with VeVe.
Their first set of NFTs came in August 2021 when Marvel released a few Captain America Statues and Spider Comic Books in the digital medium.
The collection included the “Ultra-Rare – Spider-Man,” “Uncommon – Spider-Man,” “Common – Spider-Man,” “Rare – Spider-Man,” and the “Secret-Rare – Spider-Man.”
The first fully readable Amazing Spiderman #1 NFT caught the eye of the Marvel fans becoming an instant success.
Even though the partnership with Boss Beauty is mostly a gesture to spotlight their work on Women’s Empowerment, it wouldn’t be surprising if we see some artistic collaborations.
