MOBOX Will Use NFT Interoperability to Connect Metaverses

    What is MOBOX?
    The platform mechanics, explained
    Project roadmap

Community-driven and developer-friendly – this is the main description of MOBOX, one of the most promising platforms of the year. Right now, this innovative GameFi platform is in the top 3 dApps with most users on Binance Smart Chain, and it has over 30,000 NFTs minted. What makes it so special?

In essence, MOBOX aims to revolutionize the market by turning the free-to-play, play-to-earn system into reality. To reach their goal, the team is combining some of the top DeFi, NFT, and gaming features.

Clearly, MOBOX is taking concepts like NFT utility and blockchain gaming to a new level – all in the name of its community. Today, we’ll find out just how it works.

    What is MOBOX?

MOBOX is an NFT-powered platform using the Binance Smart Chain.  In essence, users get to enjoy the platform for free and get rewards in the form of $MBOX tokens.

Currently, the platform has launched a whopping 30,000 NFTs which can be used within the ecosystem. Notably, the team uses both ERC-721 and ERC1155 standards for their impressive collection; why does it matter?

First of all, using two standards can reduce overall gas fees when you generate NFTs on-chain. Secondly, the feature, along with MOBOX’s bridging mechanics, allows holders to move NFTs between Ethereum and TRON blockchains.

As a result, players will be able to utilize the same NFTs for all MOBOX games – a feature called universal interoperability. What does it mean?

In essence, each NFT has increased value because it connects different blockchains, applications, and games.

But how does the MOBOX platform work anyway?

    The platform mechanics, explained

The first step to enjoying MOBOX is to deposit base currency into a MOBOX Single Token CRATE contract.  Accordingly, this option will re-invest XVS rewards into the protocol – which means more base currency for users.

Alternatively, you can also deposit assets into the MOBOX Pancake Liquidity Pool. In exchange, you’ll receive a Pancake LP token which you can then deposit into MOBOX Crates. In this case, the Crates (which are innovative smart contracts) will re-invest CAKE rewards into the protocol, so that users receive more of the base LP.

Now, CRATE contracts are smart contracts that automatically customize the most profitable yield farming strategy for all BSC users.

For each Crate Pool, the team will offer a certain amount of BEP20 KEY tokens daily. KEYs are important because they help users unlock a special BOX. The BOX allows players to generate (and mint) unique NFTs called MOMO.

Once they have a MOMO, players can choose whether they want to trade it on the MOBOX marketplace, use it to earn MBOX DAO Tokens, or keep it for the play-and-earn games available.

Here’s a visual representation to make things clearer:

Of course, users can also earn by playing games, as they’re all based on the free-to-play, play-to-earn mechanics – so let’s check them out!

Which are the current MOBOX games?

Right now, platform users can have fun by playing the following games:

    1. MOMO: NFT Farmer

This is the core game of the MOBOX platform. In essence, players must engage in yield farming in order to earn MBOX tokens and unique NFTs. In essence, the more you farm, the more likely it is to receive a rare, unique NFT.

    2. MOMO: Block Browler

This real-time thriller involves fighting against other players to become the next big MOBOXer. Each player must increase their skills, talent, and equipment, by completing certain tasks. Each real-time fight will help players increase their rank, and receive seasonal rewards based on two leaderboards: the ladder and the Boss killboard.

    3. MOMO: Token Master

If you’re looking for a casual experience, now you can rob your opponents and friends to collect tokens. Simply put, the turn-based game requires getting as many tokens as possible. For each season, there will be a leaderboard, allowing top players to win MBOX token rewards.

The team has also confirmed a third game called Momo: Tactical Party Slayer, which is set to launch by the end of this year. What’s more, players will also enjoy three additional TradeAction gameplays:

    • LeverageMania, where players must choose to sell their in-game tokens short or buy long to make a quick profit;
    • SimpleTrade, which requires trading weekly tokens through a simulation tool;
    • Bull vs. Bear, the intense gameplay where users must quickly guess if Bitcoin goes up or down within the next 60 seconds.

In summary, MOBOX is offering plenty of creative ways to have fun, all while increasing your revenue. However, this is just the beginning of a promising roadmap that will take the platform to a whole new level!

    Project roadmap

In addition to launching the MOMO: Tactical Party Slayer game, during Q4 2021 the MOBOX team also aims to launch a game creator API for third-party developers. Furthermore, users will get to enjoy a brand new MBOX DAO Voting Platform as well.

As for 2022, the team will start expanding on Tier 1 IP for the upcoming Legendary MOMO NFTs – a process that should be finished by Q4.

The roadmap is definitely exciting, but there’s one specific goal that stands out from the crowd: the NFT Creator platform.

    What is MOBOX NFT Creator?

Of all the plans included in the MOBOX roadmap, one of the most exciting ones is the MOBOX NFT Creator. This innovative platform will allow content creators to develop their own MOMO non-fungible tokens, and use them across all of the games available!

The creative process is very simple too: artists upload their MOMO NFT, and select several unique attributes. Then, the community can vote to decide whether they want to use that MOMO within the ecosystem or not, by staking MBOX tokens.

Perhaps the most exciting part about MOBOX NFT Creator is that each artist can establish how much they’d like to keep from each sale. If their MOMO NFT is approved, their wallet will automatically be updated.

The new platform is set to launch this year – and it’s just the beginning of a revolutionary project that will change the market forever.
