After 18 months in production, DJ Timmy Trumpet is dropping a unique NFT on Origin Story. The one-of-one NFT, titled “Eternal”, aims to bridge the gap with the metaverse and a real-life experience.
In addition to being an NFT, Eternal will unlock the physical ownership of DJ Timmy Trumpet’s famous trumpet. The trumpet is currently in a high-security facility, where it is insured for 1,000,000 USD. Only the ETERNAL Passport holder can access the trumpet via an encrypted and secure portal.
The ETERNAL project uses one of blockchain’s most important applications: the instant verification of ownership. Furthermore, it acts as a gateway to several Web3 and NFT productions that the DJ has been working on for 18 months.
Timmy Trumpet’s universe in the metaverse
DJ Timmy Trumpet commented on the importance of this project: “I wanted to make my first NFT my most valued possession. It’s been my lifelong dream to one day have my own custom trumpet made just for me. My father taught me how to play, his father taught him. There is nothing more personal to me.” He continued, “You can ‘right click save’ this NFT, but you can’t right-click save my trumpet, play it in your studio, or do with it whatever you like.”
So what can we expect from this forward-thinking DJ? The list includes partnerships with global brands, collaborations with other artists as well as interactive Web3 experiences. Following the drop of ETERNAL, DJ Timmy Trumpet will announce a metaverse megaproject that will expand the Timmy Trumpet universe.
ETERNAL auction begins at 11 p.m. PT on Origin Story on February 22 and runs for 48 hours. The Australian DJ joins a list of international artists such as Steve Aoki and Snoop Dogg who have become avid NFT supporters.
