Inverted Studios is launching Musée, a platform that allows users to buy plots of virtual lands they can use as a Metaverse Museum. The launch begins Tuesday, 20th of July, where the 10,000 plots will be available for purchase.
Metaverse Museum
Users can own, combine and sell their full ownership because the plots are NFTs. Owning a plot of land means that you will have the privilege to sell and share your creations and collection on the platform mimicking the art gallery experience. Meanwhile, being an explorer of the metaverse museum means that you can purchase unique and authentic artwork while navigating the platform.
The platform is the world’s first NFT marketplace using NFT-owned plots. The plots have a finite supply of 10,000. Aside from being a digital gallery, each plot will serve as an access point to the artist’s profile, collection and community. Thus, Musée is not just an NFT Marketplace but a social media platform where creators can engage with their followers.
As owners gain followers, so do their plots, thereby increasing their resale value. So ultimately, the goal is to support the owners in building an engaged community. Furthermore, owners have an option to purchase multiple plots together. This can give birth to creative collaborations between the owners.
The platform also guarantees maximum exposure for the artists because all creations will always be displayed front and center on the main page grid for visitors to see. Everyone with an Ethereum wallet will be able to create an account and a profile, but only the plot owners will be able to sell their creations and share their collections. Since the barrier to entry is low, the platform will play a significant role in bringing NFTs mainstream
The role of galleries in the Art Revolution
Musée’s mission is to help creators and collectors participate in this historical shift of how we authenticate artworks. The platform connects the world of art, museum and NFTs. By providing a space where people can buy and enjoy NFT Art, the platform transforms into an entity that truly belongs to the community.
Galleries are responsible for the growth of Art and NFT Art is no exception. NFT BAZL hosted the world’s first physical NFT Exhibit in Miami. It also ran simultaneously on the Metaverse – live-streamed by Decentraland’s Genesis Plaza. Other examples include, the physical NFT gallery in Chicago by imnotArt and Japan’s first physical NFT Exhibit hosted by CrypTOKYO.
We live in a time when the opportunity to visit galleries in person is limited. Despite the pandemic, art fans and collectors still patronize galleries. This means that there’s a tremendous opportunity for Musée to bring millions of enthusiasts and artists into the Metaverse Museum Platform.
