My Pet Hooligan NFTs in the Rabbit Hole Metaverse
According to the lore, the Pet Hooligans were forced to farm $karrots, the in-game currency. Then, they were bound to cages at the mercy of their overlord Metazuckbot, CEO of Zuck Corp. Eventually, they rebelled to free themselves from captivity. So the narrative lifts off from their attempts to “realize their true potential in a new world void of constraints and laws.”
The Hooligans split into seven factions, ranging from the Hare Raisers to the Cypherbuns – all with one mission, to disrupt Metazuckbot’s, Zuck Corp. However, some decided to go against the tide by returning to the dark side.
The project’s Metaverse, The Rabbit Hole, is also anchored on this narrative. The desktop PvP video game running in Unreal Engine 5.0 takes place in their proprietary Metaverse. Basically, in this play-to-earn game, Hooligans earn $karrots and raise hell in the streets, fighting against Meta Zuck Bot to end the centralized Metaverse.
Roadmap and Future Plans
Aside from doubling as playable characters in the game, users can also use their NFTs to create their own content. So you can get your Hooligan’s FBX files, you could also use it to animate content. Whether it’s for fun or commercial use, this aspect elevates the utility of the NFTs. Moreover, aside from earning, players can also stake their NFTs and earn $karrots in return.
To make things even more exciting, the team is rewarding token holders with IRL experiences. The first exclusive treat is a raffle for a number of round trips (flight & hotel) to Hollywood, CA. Users will get a chance to explore the inner workings of the projects. They will join the team in the studio and become their Pet Hooligan on a motion capture stage. They can also produce some live animation with the team.
