New ROCKI Theme Tune Needed, Apply Within

A new ROCKI theme tune is needed, and the music making public are being asked to pitch ideas. Better yet, the music platform for NFTs and the Binance Smart Chain it runs on are more than happy to pay for the work.

The successful producer or artist will be rewarded handsomely for their efforts. In fact, the cash on offer amounts to $10,000 in ROCKS tokens, which are native to the ROCKI. What’s more, ten randomly selected entrants will also be in for $1,000 in tokens each, encouraging wider participation.

A new ROCKI theme tune — the rules

As with any competition, there are of course some requirements that must be met if you want to be considered. Don’t worry too much, though, these are pretty basic.

First up, work submitted can either be old or produced for this competition. The only stipulation is that the rights must be owned by the artist, and nobody else. Which makes sense, given NFTs are introducing new levels of transparency to the music industry.

Secondly, the track must be uploaded by the 15th June. You can sign up to take part here, then look out for the confirmation email which will tell you what to do next.

What is ROCKI?

For those who haven’t picked up on this yet, ROCKI is now the world’s biggest music NFT platform, dedicated to music fans and artists on the Binance Smart Chain. The system is also a streaming service aimed at righting many of the wrongs of the modern industry. Specifically the reality of artists doing lots and lots of work, garnering lots and lots of streams, but earning very little revenue.
