Mythical Games, in partnership with the NFL and NFLPA, is launching its first NFT drop for NFL Rivals tomorrow. The collaboration is releasing Rivals’ Digital Player Cards through multiple drops on January 27. Let’s dive into the upcoming drop.
NFL Rivals NFT Player Cards
NFL Rivals, the first officially licenced NFL and NFLPA blockchain-based game, will make its NFT Player Cards available starting tomorrow. This is Rivals’ first game pieces and will be part of the “RIsing Stars” set. Further, it will feature 20 upcoming NFL players, such as Greg Rousseau, Brandon Aiyuk, Pat Freiermuth, Travis Etienne Jr, Nick Bolton, and Kristian Fulton. Owning the NFT cards grants you the ability to build team rosters, boost your status, rise on the leaderboard, and win exclusive rewards. You will also be able to sell your digital assets on the Mythical Marketplace.
Furthermore, the NFT playing cards will come in packs that will contain three players of varying rarities. To clarify, the cards can either have common, rare, epic, or legendary stats. Moreover, those that purchase the Rivals NFTs will also score a bonus NFL Rivals Starter Bundle. 1,000 packs will be available for purchase during the first drop for $49 each.
To note, “holders of the unique Rarity League collection will have exclusive access to a presale on January 26th before they hit the public marketplace 24 hours later, on January 27th.”
