NFT collectibles Ghxsts announce some major updates for 2022

The Ghxsts team recently released a bunch of exciting updates as they suit up for 2022. The updates include new releases, tier rewards for holders, ERC-721 migration, and other sneak peaks that the team cannot wait to share with the community.

The Ghxsts NFT collection includes 349 hand-drawn art pieces, featuring various mythical beings. Ghxsts, Demxns, Alixns, Zxdiacs, and Lunar Zxdiacs are the more popular pieces available. Such NFTs are a breath of fresh air given the abundance of algorithmically generated NFTs on the market.

This project was founded by Gong Yang (@GxngYxngNFT) and Janet (@JanetNFT). GY sold his first Ghxsts NFT in April 2021 and the rest is history. The founder/artist draws each inspiring art from his heart, telling his own story. His success meant a lot to him personally as his high school principal and art teacher once ridiculed his drawing style and said he would never succeed as an artist.

2022 Updates

The team recently held an in-depth conversation on Twitter Spaces regarding the upcoming updates to embrace the new year. Let’s go through some of the highlights:

1. All of the existing NFTs will be migrated to either ERC-721 or ERC-1155. This will differentiate the pieces that have utility and those that do not. The team has decided to play it safe via a manual transition. All holders will send their NFTs back to GY where he will change the metadata of each piece. He will then re-mint them on the new contracts and send them back manually. Aside from being a safe measure, it protects the history of the original pieces.
2. In addition, GY will soon drop his Ghxsts NFT comic series chapter by chapter, giving further utility to NFT holders.
3. NFT holders will be given access to exclusive presale opportunities with Ghxsts partners, such as the Invisible Friends presale. The Invisible Friends collection will be completely released via presale and many people have been racing to get onto the whitelist. Therefore, the 20 spots given to Ghxsts are to die for.
4. The team will be present at 3 physical events, namely the Vegas, LA, and NYC NFT event. Talk about meeting your superheroes in real life.
5. GY is also currently working with Coinbase as a featured creator and has promised great things for the project.
6. This next one is a juicy one. The team is currently in talks with both The Sandbox and Decentraland. They did not reveal much, but personally my imaginations are beginning to run wild.

Reward Tiers

Given the project’s massive success since selling at $3 per piece, the team has decided to reward their holders, especially the early adopters.

• • The Golden Tier consist of holders of the original Ghxsts NFTs. They will receive airdropped copies of the new comics, free reward pieces, presale opportunities, and many more.
  • The Silver Tier consist of holders of Demxns, Alixns, Sirxns, Immxrtals, Mythxcals, Gxds, Astro Divines, and Lunar Divines. They will get to mint the comics and reward pieces at a discounted price.
  • The Bronze Tier consist of holders of the Astro Zxdiacs and Lunar Zxdiacs. Holders in this tier will receive monthly rewards for the next 8 months, access to comics and reward pieces, and presale opportunities among other rewards.
