Leading NFT and GameFi marketplace, Babylons is all set to drop its official NFT collection. The PFP collection, featuring high-end artwork, promises to give holders a slew of benefits. What’s more, prior to the official NFT drop, the platform will launch a free-to-mint NFT collection for its growing Web3 community.

Here’s all you need to know about Babylons and its official NFT collection:

First, Babylons will drop free-to-mint NFTs this month.

    What is Babylons?

Launched in April 2021, Babylons is a community-governed NFT ecosystem featuring an NFT marketplace, a blockchain gaming aggregator, a cutting-edge launchpad, and a Web3 technology solutions provider. Since its launch, the Babylons NFT marketplace has processed more than $20 million in NFT trading volume.

Meanwhile, Babylons’ launchpad has raised over $2 million in primary sales through over 100 IDO (Initial Dex Offering) and INO (Initial NFT Offering) for its partners. In addition, its SDK already supports a range of NFT projects and their products have registered over 50,000 unique wallets. Now, this Web3 veteran is launching its own NFT collection.

About Babylons’ Free To Mint NFTs

Before dropping its official NFT collection, Babylons will release a host of free-to-mint NFTs. These will be available on different blockchains hosted by its NFT marketplace, including Ethereum, Optimism, Avalanche, Fantom, and Arbitrium. Furthermore, the NFTs will automatically give holders Whitelist access to the upcoming PFP NFT collection.

“While projects generally take out their token or NFT and then go to the trouble of utilizing them, the situation is different for us,” said Furkan Özalp, Co-founder of Babylons. “We are currently a company with two products and a B2B service infrastructure. We work a little differently from the market. Since it is logically against our team to issue NFT or token in advance, we first created the structures in which they will be used.”

Babylons will drop the first set of free-to-mint NFTs this month, with the official collection likely launching next year once all the free NFT collections are minted. The firm will reveal more details soon. In terms of the official NFT collection, a talented designer is already working on the artwork. The lore is already progressing via its Discord server. Then, as the story progresses, the project will move towards becoming a DAO.

    What about utilities?

As previously mentioned, the free-to-mint NFTs will give holders whitelist access to the official Babylons PFP NFT collection. In addition, these NFTs will function as utility “boosters” for the upcoming collection. Besides, the firm regularly gives away rewards, NFTs, and whitelist spots on its Discord server, which will become free-to-mint NFT gated after the drop. Babylons, however, has not yet finalised the complete set of utilities and will share more details in the coming days and weeks.

Amid the current market conditions, what the industry really needs are NFT projects developed by an experienced team. And that’s exactly what Babylons brings to the table. The firm boasts a team of 30 dedicated professionals with a wealth of experience and has already built a strong community. All things considered, their upcoming NFT collection is worth keeping an eye on.

Make sure to follow Babylons on Twitter and Instagram, and join its Discord server to not miss any of the hottest updates.
