NFT streamers are now a thing. Andrew Wang, most commonly known for his 1/1 upside-down Cool Cat, has decided to become a Twitch streamer. He is eager to show his viewers him hatching his cool pets, “playing Twitter”, and speaking about all things NFTs and Web 3 related. Andrew states, “It could be a fun way of building in public and I hope you like this idea.”
Wang’s NFT Streaming Journey
Before Andrew Wang started his journey in the NFT world, he was a freelance writer. Eventually, Wang discovered non-fungible tokens. He says on his about page, “When I discovered how they empower individuals, whether as artists, investors, or community builders, I went all in.” He then dropped out of his graduate program and started writing about NFTs.
Andrew Wang is now an influential individual in the space. He states, “I take a more general role in the NFT world as a community builder, a Twitter Spaces host, project advisor, and occasional shitposter.” And he is now of course a streamer.
The number of creatives using and evolving this technology will only push it further. And it’s likely that soon there’ll be more and more NFT streamers. One Twitch streamer who is also involved in the ever-growing industry of decentralized, digital art is Alinity. As we reported in a previous article, the streamer recently teased an idea regarding NFTs.
To wrap up, this is exciting news. It’s great to see some of the influential characters in the space create different types of content to engage with the community. This will inspire many individuals of the community to build in the Web 3 space.
