Superstar DJ Marshmello has revealed his NFT portfolio, and it’s worth almost $1 million. This revelation confirms the incognito helmet wearing DJ as an NFT whale.
The world-renowned American producer and DJ hid his portfolio well. However, Marshmello recently changed his avatar on Twitter. Surprisingly, he changed it to CrpytoPunk #8274.

Fans of Marshmello were quickly on the case. They traced the Cryptopunk back to a wallet containing 46 NFTs. This is a serious collection, and clearly, the famous DJ is no stranger to NFTs. As well as Crpytopunk #8274, his NFT collection includes BAYC, Veefriends, CrypToadz and Wicked Craniums.
His portfolio is well-curated. Despite the other 45, CrpytoPunk #8274 stands out. It was purchased only three days ago at a value of 130 ETH ($427 thousand), according to DappRaider. A genuine collector’s item, and Marshmello knows this.
The superstar DJ is a pop culture icon. He has over 10 billion Spotify streams and numerous music awards. Marshmello regarded as the face of electronic music and has worked with artists such as Demi Lovato, Bastille and Selena Gomez.
Twitter NFT badge verification is just around the corner. Furthermore, this could be the beginning of many big-name celebrities using their NFTs as avatars. Twitter will also adopt Bitcoin as part of a tipping feature, along with its NFT plans.
Marshmello isn’t new to NFTs or Cryptocurrency. In May, the DJ teamed up with the platform Aito and award-winning art director Steve Messing to create a Defi powered NFT auction. The auction, ‘Into the Melloverse‘, proved to be a huge success.
